Convention Details:
Purpose: To elect a new Senator for the 23rd District to serve the unexpired term.
Date: Monday, December 20, 2010, at
Location: Spring Hill High School, 19701 S. Ridgeview Road, Spring Hill, KS 66083
Check-in: 6:00 – 7:00 pm
Convention: 7:00 to completion
The doors will close and Convention will begin promptly at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early enough so we can get everyone credentialed before the Convention begins. Latecomers will not be seated at the Convention. You must bring a Kansas driver’s license or other photo ID to allow for an orderly check-in procedure.
The enclosed proposed rules have been approved by the Rules Committee. Please read the rules before the Convention. The rules provide for proxy voting. Enclosed is a copy of the form of proxy to be used if you plan to have another Committeeperson carry your proxy and vote on your behalf. The proxy carrier must be another Precinct Committeeperson from the 23rd Senate District. The party can provide a list of the Precinct Committee people in the district. The Party Secretary, Marearl Denning, is a notary.
