Annual Convention
In late January, the Kansas Republican Party holds an annual convention in Topeka, known as Kansas Day. In odd numbered years, the delegates elect state GOP officers.
The Four Districts of the State GOP
The Kansas Republican Party is administratively divided into four geographic districts that coincide with the four U.S. Congressional districts. All of Johnson County is in the Third District. Each district holds a convention attended by delegates from the district.
