A Word from our Chairman

Hello Johnson County Republicans,

We have two very special events to in which we invite you to be a participant.  

The Grand Opening of the Johnson County Republican Party office, and;

A special event featuring Michael Steele, the Chairman of the Republican National Committee.

On Thursday, July 9^th, we will be honored as our distinguished guest will speak and interact with those in attendance.  This event is co-sponsored by the Johnson County Republican Party and the Kansas Republican Party.  Other special guests include Senator Sam Brownback, Senator Pat Roberts, Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins, Congressman Todd Tiahrt and Congressman Jerry Moran and many of our local elected Republicans.

This event is a fundraiser to benefit the Kansas Republican Party.  We hope to see you there; it will be very special.  Our many thanks to Dr. Stephen and Mary Reintjes for their hospitality and holding our event in their home.

On Saturday, July 11^th, from 4-7 PM, we will be holding our Grand Opening Celebration of the Johnson County Republican Party Office.  Our offices are centrally located in the Metcalf 127 Shopping Center at 12651 Metcalf Avenue.  We will be providing free food and tours of the new facilities.  We invite you to stop by and meet some wonderful fellow Republicans from our county.  We will have a basket available for you make a contribution to help our county party.

Some of the elected Republican officials who will be with us include: Congressman Todd Tiahrt, County Commissioners Annabeth Surbaugh, Dave Lindstrom, Ed Eilert, and many State Legislators: Sen. Jeff Colyer, Sen. John Vratil, Sen. Karin Brownlee, Rep. Terrie Huntington, Rep. Pat Colloton, Rep. Kevin Yoder, Rep. Scott Schwab, Rep. Marvin Kleeb, Rep. Ron Worley and many others, such as former Johnson County Party Chairmen Greg Musil, Doug Patterson, Andy Wollen and former Sen. Nick Jordan.

We will be enjoying food from neighboring restaurants in our shopping area, The Peanut, Quizinos, Pizza Shoppe, XXXX and XXXXX.
